What you’ll do day-to-day

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role within the Corporate Communications team and aligned to dedicatedly support Financial Operations (FinOp) team. You’ll be expected to develop an understanding of the firm’s business context at large and FinOp’s business context. You’ll be required to attend FinOp business meetings to understand the team’s current communication flow, standard, and challenges—and create/refine processes to make the communication further effective from time as well as impact standpoint. You’ll conceptualize, write, and edit business/executive content, including day-to-day business communications, to help FinOp meaningfully relay complex information to varied audiences across the globe. You’ll also coach FinOp team members across seniority levels to help strengthen their business writing skills and develop an understanding of the firm’s writing, communications, and branding guidelines. Furthermore, you’ll create firmwide communications around key business updates, strategic messages from the leadership, internal communications collateral, etc., as and when needed.

Who we’re looking for

  • The ideal candidate should have five to eight years of experience in creating high-impact business content, meant for leadership consumption, for companies in finance (or related) sector.
  • The candidate should have prior experience in conceptualizing and delivering complex business documents, including but not limited to a Business Unit Reviews (BUR), Business Proposals, Briefing Documents for Leadership, etc.
  • Candidate should have an aptitude for coaching business personnel (including leaders) on their writing skills. Candidates with experience in facilitating timely learning interventions related to business communication would have an added advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should have an understanding of operating in a multi-stakeholder environment, with multi-geo and multinational set up.
  • Candidate should also have excellent project management skills and an analytical approach towards problem-solving.
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Communicative English with a Master's degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (or equivalent) with a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Communicative English.
