JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our Financial Research (FinRes) group based in India. Based on candidate’s location preference, the position is open for either of our Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Gurugram offices in India. The role involves working closely with analysts in the firm’s Fundamental Equities (FE) team based in the USA. The role requires covering stocks related to clean tech and renewables sectors, in particular residential solar sector in the USA.

What you’ll do day-to-day

In this role, you’ll be expected to build and maintain financial models, perform various valuation analyses, prepare related research memos, and present investment ideas to front office groups. You’ll have the opportunity to attend meetings with the management, intermediaries, and sector experts to develop expertise on the covered companies and strengthen the firm’s perspective on investment opportunities.

Who we’re looking for

• The ideal candidate should have a degree in finance or equivalent (MBA/CFA/CA), and over five years of investment research experience
• The candidate should have prior experience in covering and modeling stocks related to clean tech and renewables, in particular the residential solar sector
• The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of solar supply chains
• The candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
