We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8+ years of database administration experience, including at least 5 years of experience in Azure. The primary skills required for this role include providing technical leadership and guidance on Azure Cosmos DB, designing and implementing Cosmos DB solutions for various databases like NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, and Apache Gremlin. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of estimating RU/s using the Azure Cosmos DB capacity planner, knowledge of the pricing model in Azure Cosmos DB, and the ability to develop and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines for Cosmos DB design. The candidate should also have experience working with development teams to optimize data access patterns and query strategies, as well as creating and managing Azure Database Migration Service for data migration. Secondary skills include identifying automation opportunities, post-migration validation test results, and break-fix support. Good knowledge in PowerShell scripting is a plus. Certification in Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Associate and Exam DP-420: Designing and Implementing Cloud-Native Applications Using Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB is preferred. Soft skills required for this role include good customer connections, the ability to prepare solution presentations and migration planning preparations, the ability to work well in a team, and excellent communication and analytical skills. BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or equivalent educational qualifications are required for this role.
