JOB DESCRIPTION

Cyber Security Operations Lead role will be responsible for managing network and cloud security across Datacenters, Enduser and Cloud environments. As a technical security leader by driving the best practices and security benchmarks with the help of leading technologies. As a part of this role, individual will interact with the global D&T stakeholders and IT services providers.

• Provide global operational ownership for network security infrastructure & operations (firewalls, proxies, content filtering, load balancers, VPN gateways, IDS, IPS, ), enforcing standards, policy compliance and running day-today operations
• Develop, maintain and improve existing/new security technologies, processes and governance to effect a proactive security monitoring/detection capability
• Enforces security governance by monitoring and administering security technologies (IPS/IDS, Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Web-Filtering,Web Application Firewall, Proxy and E-mail filtering)
• Gather and understand network security requirements, controls, policies, and threats by consulting with other internal security experts, 3rd party sources, and suppliers on current and future threats, mitigations, and services
• Create network security technology infrastructure architectures in support of business and technical initiatives
• Supply thought leadership regarding network security hardware and software technologies and infrastructure architecture
• Verify appropriate security solutions are developed and implemented for network infrastructure components
• Assist in the development and enforcement of hardware and software standards appropriate for the network security environments
• Communicate and share network subject matter and architecture blueprints to internal and external business and technology partners to encourage their understanding, involvement and development
• Drive the the configuration and deployment of cloud security solutions, ensuring security is built into Diageo’s cloud security platforms.
• Ensure the appropriate tooling, automation and operational processes and models are in place to support Diageo’s cloud security objectives
• Map security controls to compliance requirements for network security environments. 
• Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls
• Responsible for automating security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support in network security area
• Provide subject matter expertise on network security domain to other IT and business teams
• Assist in the development, collection, and reporting of relevant metrics.

Qualification

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer Science with – 
• 8 + years’ equivalent information security experience.
• Foundation services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies. 
• Prior experience on a Security Operations team, especially experience coordinating responses to security incidents
• Experience of Network and Cloud Security Tools 
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
• Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business
