The Marketing Technology Specialist will work with business stakeholders to understand challenges and implement updates and changes to the Marketing Technology ecosystem. You will be responsible for conducting vendor and application evaluations, developing and implementing project plans, and serving as a liaison between technical consultants and the organization. As a business analyst, you will elicit requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience with project management or marketing/advertising technology, data processing tools, digital marketing channels, and Marketing Technology tools.

Job description 

The Marketing Technology Specialist will be responsible for the following:
 

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand challenges with determine how updates and changes to the Marketing Technology ecosystem can drive value
  • Conduct vendor and application evaluations
  • Coordinate, develop, and implement project plans to deliver marketing technology tasks and customizations.
  • Prioritize incoming requests, resolve and/or assign tasks accordingly.
  • Manage the relationship with technical consultants and technology providers and serve as liaison between them and the organization; work with consultants to obtain necessary services and acquire resources.
  • Maintain open communication with other departments to assure efficient processes are implemented and to prioritize projects with overlapping responsibilities.
  • Serve as a business analyst to elicit requirements and translate into functional and technical requirements.
     

The ideal Marketing Technology Specialist should possess the following:

  • 4+ years experience with project management or marketing/advertising technology
  • Experience working with data, including working with standard data processing tools/concepts (e.g. SQL, ETL), analytics, validations and data integrations
  • Experience driving, defining and implementing solutions working with data engineering and marketing teams
  • Experience launching or driving adoption of products, demonstrating knowledge of customer needs
  • Experience with operational processes and issue management and resolution
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (Email, Facebook Ads, Display, Onsite Merchandising, etc.)
  • Experience with Marketing Technology tools (CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation, Digital Analytics, Content Management Systems)
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with an enterprise-scale marketing automation platform (Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CDP, Eloqua, Adobe Experience Platform.)
  • Experience with demand gen or growth marketing
  • Experience working with marketing data vendors
  • Healthcare experience
