The Opportunity

 

Adobe India is on a growth journey, and we are seeking a Marketing Strategy & Operations Manager to drive high-impact marketing insights that will generate long-term value for Adobe and its customers to support the business growth.

 

The position will be responsible for localising & implementing best-in-class capabilities around data-driven marketing and strategic insights to optimize marketing strategies, programs, and processes.  The role will develop insights to guide senior leaders’ decision-making across the business.

 

This Strategy and Operations role will lead advancing three significant marketing motions:

 

  • Marketing Strategy – Lead the business's marketing strategy development in collaboration with the marketing director and marketing leaders, aligning teams to the same “north star” goals and prioritization.
  • Marketing Investment - Drive the variable marketing investment plan across GTM segments and marketing channels. Work across teams to reflect the strategy and priorities in investing our variable marketing dollars. Optimize the budget by providing transparency for key spending, and performance data and insights.
  • Marketing Effectiveness – Inform strategy and investments through a data-driven view of our marketing performance, by aligning marketing to unified metrics and driving consistent marketing performance reviews across pipeline generation, pipeline progression to bookings motions.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Planning and Strategy
  • Partner with Marketing Director to lead marketing strategy (annually + quarterly) across GTM segment, including variable budgets investment and performance insights that lead to innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Marketing, Field Marketing and business leaders to develop a multi-channel marketing plan based on customer and business insights to deliver the business goals.
  • Have a good understanding of the B2B Demand Generation Funnel and provide actionable insights to improve funnel conversion.         
    • Derive insights from our data-driven operating model, competitive intelligence, and marketing trends to evolve our long-term strategy and bring a POV on new marketing capabilities that need to be built to grow.
  • Budget Management
  • Evolve the marketing investment framework. Articulate the case for investment decisions and trade-offs across priorities to drive the current business and future growth.
  • Develop and implement frameworks and tools for budgeting and decision-making that balances priorities across GTM segments and the portfolio of solutions.
  • Overall budget management ensuring that the team manages to plan.
  • Business Performance Management
  • Develop operating models (process, tools, metrics) to increase marketing effectiveness and business performance.
  • Full ownership of the marketing performance management system, including Annual Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, Bi-Weekly Performance Reviews, etc.
  • Provide business insights and use analytics to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution.
  • Preempt and tackle problems on critical operational issues (clearing roadblocks to “get things done”) and opportunities.

 

 

What you need to succeed

 

  • 8+ years experience in B2BMarketing, preferably in the technology or software industry
  • Outstanding team leadership and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Experience in planning, budgeting, and strategy (in marketing planning specifically is a plus)
  • Analytical, data-driven approach that can rapidly assess a business problem, structure, evaluate options, and implement solutions.
  • Exceptional written and spoken communicator, structured problem solver, resourceful, and persistent.
  • Articulate the rationale for decision and decision-making in a clearly understood way and instills confidence in the strategy.
  • Ability to quickly deliver executive-level presentations and communications, enabling us to align on innovative ways and act on them effectively.
  • Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau, Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Proven track-record in fast paced environments.

For each engagement, help conduct customer research & discovery, understand customer needs, define the scope and scale of business consulting services, contribute to the creation of presentations and other customer-facing artifacts, and present a proposal to the customer. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce value frameworks and revenue driving insights that positively impact and move a client’s business forward.  Lead workshops designed to help customers gain consensus and cohesion around key business issues to explore and prioritize. Drive pre-sales activities to position successful delivery of customer solutions and accelerate sales pipeline. Orchestrate actions across product and delivery groups for seamless project execution that are focused on discovery, research, and analysis to identify business objectives, goals, KPIs to help define use cases around digital marketing.
