Business Architect (BA) – BSAi – Job Description
The contextual view:
A Business Architect provides pre-sales support for influencing the sales cycle and accelerating the sales motion. BA would use in-depth product knowledge, business, process, and industry knowledge to provide business driving expertise to sales staff and the customer through business workshops and sales presentations.
BA provide our customers with value focused expert advice, guidance to articulate a strategic digital vision and facilitate change within our client’s organization. This person will focus on digital experience transformation engagements for Adobe’s largest customers in the areas of Marketing technology, business processes, systems, operating model, change management & adoption and organization structures.
The primary responsibility will be to solve complex customer need in the areas of Digital experience based on adobe experience cloud ecosystem, creating, and implementing readiness, adoption and acceleration business management strategies and plans that maximize marketing technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in multiple architecture engagements each quarter.
- For each engagement, help conduct customer research & discovery, understand customer needs, define the scope and scale of business consulting services, contribute to the creation of presentations and other customer-facing artifacts, and present a proposal to the customer.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce value frameworks and revenue driving insights that positively impact and move a client’s business forward.
- Lead workshops designed to help customers gain consensus and cohesion around key business issues to explore and prioritize.
- Drive pre-sales activities to position successful delivery of customer solutions and accelerate sales pipeline. Orchestrate actions across product and delivery groups for seamless project execution that are focused on discovery, research, and analysis to identify business objectives, goals, KPIs to help define use cases around digital marketing.
- Lead and drive complex cross-functional teams towards clear, efficient, and accountable decision making and customer value delivery.
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analysing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesising recommendations.
- Understand and position in proposals, service offerings in the space of organisational visions and design – people, process, and technology – to help customers align their teams toward strategy and value. Recommend and lead roadmaps and component programs.
- Aid building the Digital Performance Strategy practice by chipping in to create methodologies and contribute in cross training and mentoring team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience working in digital marketing domain or related field with a strong business and strategy focus.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, ability to engage and inspire senior client executives and stakeholders.
- To meet customer expectations, Business Architects must maintain a keen awareness of the Adobe product strategy, consulting offerings, and sales methodology.
- Experience in crafting digital experience or digital marketing strategies, along with an understanding of the technologies and tactics needed to operationalize them.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud or competitive technologies, including a good grasp of the use cases they fulfill and the features & capabilities they provide to execute on those.
- Demonstrable depth of industry expertise in at least one core vertical (e.g., retail, travel, financial services, media & entertainment), ideally multiple.
- Must be self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success.
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
