Organization Summary:

 

Partner Lifecycle Operations Team’s mission is to enable partners to onboard and contract with Microsoft in the most seamless and efficient way. We are the experts in designing and executing the processes that support our partners throughout their lifecycle. We are responsible for:

  • Creating the processes that allow partners to onboard and contract with Microsoft
  • Managing the operational processes that support partner mergers and acquisitions and change of channel partner processes for end customers
  • Providing program, policy, and process expertise to support partners and influence future capability and design
  • Gathering partner requirements to enable operational excellence and improved partner experience
  • Driving execution excellence, compliance, and process optimization across lines of business for partners

Position Description:

 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Partner Lifecycle Operations team as a Process Program Manager. You will be part of a global team accountable for execution excellence through compliance, process maturity and field enablement for processes that impact Partner Lifecycle Management across all lines of business.

 

As a Process Program Manager, you will:

  • Develop and improve the processes that support our partner operations, such as onboarding, contracting, mergers and acquisitions, and change of channel partner
  • Use Business Process Mapping and Process Management Repository to design, optimize, and document the processes and ensure compliance with policies and standards
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholder groups such as PBO, GPS, ATR, CELA, Finance, and Engineering to manage prioritization of process, compliance, engineering and policy requirements
  • Implement and monitor Risk Control Measures to ensure compliance and quality of partner operations and document them as requirements for Org Management BI
  • Provide training and guidance to OCP Field Stakeholders to ensure compliant execution of Org Management Processes and improve field productivity

This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, an agile approach to managing workloads, excellent communication skills and a willingness to operate and engage at a global level with flexibility to work across time zones.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process Governance and Execution: Support the development of a scalable operating model that delivers a consistent and excellent experience for our partners and field stakeholders, by:
    • Ensuring scalability of execution through SME Process Focus
    • Executing processes in a compliant manner with a focus on reducing cycle time, planning forecast, analyzing root causes of spikes, tails, and issues
  • Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of global processes across lines of business, by:
    • Improving process maturity by aligning and optimizing processes across lines of business, prioritizing engineering, process, and policy opportunities, and measuring cycle time by process area
    • Enabling scale by transitioning to a global process-led model and optimizing processes across lines of business
  • Extension of Services: Support the integration and alignment of partner lifecycle management processes as the organization management portfolio expands, such as onboarding, contracting, mergers and acquisitions, and change of channel partner
  • Voice of Partner: Represent the voice of the partners across multiple groups within Microsoft using various listening mechanisms to capture partner experience and feedback and use them to influence operational capabilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish regional network and be the central point of contact for partner lifecycle management processes and escalations in the region and globally

 Basic Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. Relevant business experience within Operations or other organizations
  3. Demonstrated experience with process management and the creation of process documentation and process flows, ideally a Certified Business Process Management Professional from the BPM Institute
  4. Strong communications skills
  5. Strong analytical and process engineering skillset.

 

 QUALIFICATION

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills (PMP certification or similar preferred)
  • Process management and knowledge of Six Sigma principles or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills to drive clarity and alignment with key stakeholders
  • Self-driven and highly motivated, with an ability to interpret and translate existing processes, program guides, and work instructions into optimized processes that align with BPM format requirements
  • Passion and ability to achieve exceptional results, tackle ambiguity, and match a fast pace of delivery with minimal supervision
  • Creativity and judgment to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Data analytics and data management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
