Your Job

Molex is seeking a Global Product Manager (m/f/d) in Germany. In this role you will be developing and implementing the strategic direction for our single pair ethernet and custom assembly products in the industrial sector. You will have the change to act as a focal point for market knowledge, profitability, forecasts, commercialization, and planning.

Location: Germany remote with opportunity to travel up to 50%

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implements strategic product and annual business plans targeting markets, industries, and customers.
  • Identify product line trends and technologies. Lead long range product planning.
  • Increase sales and market share of assigned product line in support of Divisional objectives. Track progress to plan for revenue, profit, and backlog.
  • Improve profit and return on investment of assigned product line. Undertake and lead cost reduction, capacity planning, and quality improvement projects.
  • Review and approve special price requests, maintain price bands and price lists, and develop pricing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Manage new development activity associated with extending and growing the life of assigned product line.
  • Develop product promotion and commercialization plans including; sales tools, literature, distribution, stocking, training, and sampling.
     

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Have a degree in technical field of study (Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering etc.) or Business related field
  • Bring extensive experience in Product Management/ Sales or Business development in Industrial automation market
  • Possess Industrial Ethernet product knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Business level German language skills
  • Ability to travel
