We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the quality standards of our high-end products. You will be responsible for implementing new methods and parameters for quality monitoring, analyzing production data, managing technical problems, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, experience in supplier management, and deep understanding of quality management systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring and further developing the quality standards of our high-end products  
  • Execution and implementation of new methods and parameters for quality monitoring
  • Analysis and collection of production data and product deviations including statistical process qualification (SPC)
  • Management and control of the most important technical problems, definition of priorities for root cause investigation, pursuit of long-term solutions
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation in quality-related issues with our customer, supplier management, production, logistics and R&D
  • Development and presentation of quality reports for internal and external customers
  • Continuous improvement of cost and quality goals

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, optical, industrial), or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain management in a complex technical environment.
  • Green or Black Belt / Lean Six Sigma experience including tooling (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D)
  • Experience in managing supplier on quality performance, preferably in complex high-tech industry
  • Experience in quality improvement & operational excellence in manufacturing environment
  • Experience in complex work environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in building and maintaining strategic relations with suppliers
  • Deep understanding and experience with Quality Management Systems and Tools
  • Willingness to travel (at least 10%) and explore Applied Materials
