Primary Responsibilities:

  • System consultant for the Planful Planning and Forecasting tool
  • Support and manage business-defined functionality within the Planful system, through the use of JournalEntries, Modeling, and Data Mapping
  • Provide end user training & support for over 200 users
  • Drive efficiency in FP&A processes by automating manual tasks and processes globally
  • Ensure the planning tool is operating as expected to keep the forecasting teams up and running

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) OR 10+ years of experience developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
  • 3+ years of experience in developing within the following financial reporting tools:
    • Business Objects
    • Cognos
    • Hyperion
    • Planful
    • Adaptive Insights
    • Anaplan
  • 3+ years of experience developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
  • 3+ years of experience supporting application building, test planning and test execution and deployment activities
  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of financial processes (budgeting/forecasting), cost accounting (expense allocations) and accounting principles
  • Strong understanding of Business Processing and Project Flow
  • Experience creating and maintaining functional requirements as an input to application design
  • Strong analytical/creative problem solving skills including ability to independently troubleshoot and develop alternative solutions to problems

Soft Skills:

  • Must be flexible with a can-do attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
