Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer is the subject matter expert supporting all of Pinnacle's IT Infrastructure. This person should have both functional and technical knowledge necessary to support all IT Infrastructure technologies, which include: All Servers, Storage, Cloud Technology, Networking, and Cyber Security

Job Duties

• Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot all IT infrastructure, including Azure Cloud, VMWare Virtualization, Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Cyber Security, and all Servers 
• Serve as the highest technical escalation for IT 
• Partner with management, technical teams, and the business to manage systems, develop best practices, and implement new technologies 
• Plan and schedule system and hardware upgrades and updates 

Accountabilities/Results/Success for this role   

• Ownership and management of all Infrastructure functions 
• Ensure system uptime and security 

Required Qualifications

• 5 + years of progressively related experience as an Infrastructure Systems Engineering 
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency supporting the following: 
• Azure Architecture and Design 
• PowerShell Scripting 
• Window Active Directory and Group Policy Objects 
• Networking 
• Cyber Security 
• Backup, Recovery, and DR experience 
• System monitoring and patch management 
• VMWare 
• Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, decisive, deliberate, and practical solutions 
• Must have the skills needed to work independently and manage one's time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering 
• Workday experience 
• DarkTrace experience 
• Strong Fortinet working knowledge
