JOB OVERVIEW
The Certified Payroll Reporting Associate, you will be responsible for execution and monitoring of all Certified Payroll projects. As the Prevailing Wage, Davis Bacon Act and Certified Payroll Specialist, you will ensure compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and local City laws regarding prevailing wage and certified reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for processing Davis Bacon and Prevailing Wage Certified Payroll. This includes certified payroll project set up, reporting (weekly, monthly & quarterly), and finalizing certified payroll reporting upon completion of a project.
Responsible for resolving requests/inquiries/discrepancies from internal and external stakeholders regarding reported wages or filed reports. Responds accurately and timely in accordance with contract requirements.
Monitor and respond to emails received in the certified payroll email box accurately and within the service level agreement.
Keeps up to date on legal changes impacting certified payroll reporting including new state and federal reporting requirements by attending training and regularly reviewing acts and laws.
Assist with external certified payroll audits and other third-party requests.
Develop working relationship with and serve as the liaison between Branch Associates and General Contractors.
The ideal candidate for this position should have demonstrated knowledge of the Davis Bacon Act and Prevailing Wage Law, as well as experience working with HUD. Familiarity with LCP Tracker is a plus. They should possess strong multitasking abilities, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and summarizing information accurately. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Workday, and ADP are all essential. The candidate should be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive attitude. They should be capable of working independently and in a team environment, be organized, detail-oriented, and display a self-starter attitude. Additionally, the candidate should reflect the KONE service mindset value, demonstrating alignment with the company's customer-oriented approach.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Business Administration strongly preferred.
Previous experience in certified payroll strongly preferred 3+ years
Previous experience in a Union construction environment a plus 3+ years
Experience with ADP or large enterprise systems such as SAP in a multi-state, union environment 3+ years
LCP Tracker experience a plus
