JOB OVERVIEW

 

The purpose of the Accounting Analyst role is to perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. Some key focus areas are listed below:

 

JOB DUTIES

Manage ongoing Projects and other miscellaneous tasks including the review of Manual Journal Entries / Controls / file posting, Government reporting, etc. You will also provide supporting analytics for a quarterly Balance Sheet review.

Be responsible for all aspects of KONE Fixed Assets, Capital Expense Requests (review, approve, create, maintain), Annual CAPEX Budget Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation and reporting, etc.

Assist with treasury functions and reconciliations, such as daily Check/ACH payment approvals, Hedging reports, Quality checks on Cash & Bank monthly reconciliations, etc.

Handle unclaimed Property state filings by coordinating between various stakeholders and ensuring reports are filed, payments are made, and check reissuances are completed in a timely manner.

 

 

An ideal candidate for this role, possesses advanced analytical and organizational skills, along with a good understanding of internal controls and compensating controls. Possesses the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects while working under strict time constraints. Additionally, this person would be adept at promoting and fostering a team-oriented working environment. This candidate should be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Skilled at presenting information and responding to questions from employees, managers, and both internal and external customers.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a professional accounting role

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Maintains effective professional communication skills

Knowledge of SAP financial related modules

Assist in identifying the root cause of system and operational issues, analyze data, and recommend solutions.   Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience At least 5 years of Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in Procurement to pay cycle, Order to cash cycle, Sales & distribution, Inventory Management, Pricing, Warehouse management, Workflow approval. Experience in implementing and supporting Logistics execution in SAP in WM, EWM, MM and integration with other SAP modules such as FICO, QM, SD, and PP. Candidates should have strong knowledge of APIs and how SAP connects with other 3rd party applications. Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, and technical documentation.
