As Regional Credit Collection Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable and the optimization of field collection processes.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

Assure the creditworthiness of potential customers (pre-tender) using D&B reporting and past payment history for existing/recent customers.

Maximize receivable cash flow through optimization, development, and measurement of the regional collection team. Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements to optimize receivables.

Responsible for traveling to field locations to conduct receivable audits, provide education and development of field personnel, deliver presentations on receivable analysis, examine collection policies and processes for compliance, problem solve, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Responsibility to assist with managing, directing, and maintaining a professional regional collection infrastructure in accordance with KONE goals, policies, and procedures for receivables, payment terms, provisions, collection policies, retention management, asset protection management, and process integrity.

Assist regional/branch management with receivable goals and objectives, timely management reporting, project and customer risk analysis, and coordination of corrective action plans.

Responsible for evaluation and interaction with 3rd party collections, bonding, and software companies.

Manage regional collectors.

Special projects as assigned such as calculation of Bad Debt Provision. 

Other duties as assigned.

 

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Minimum 7-8 years of demonstrated commercial credit and collections experience in the commercial construction industry or commercial industrial services.

Prior managerial experience is required, with experience in reviewing contracts, business terms and conditions, management of credit and collections personnel, or the equivalent job experience.

Experienced and proficient skills with SAP and Credit Strategies, and Microsoft Office.

A strong professional demeanor is a must, as this candidate will serve as a representative of the business. Ultimately, a highly qualified candidate will be able to seamlessly combine interpersonal finesse, strategic thinking, leadership acumen, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement. With a solid foundation in asset protection, negotiation, and managerial prowess, this candidate is primed to contribute significantly to the success of the organization while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
