Job Description

We are recruiting for an Analyst in the EDD. 

•The Analyst is responsible for conducting Integrity Due Diligence, Counterparty Due Diligence checks to help clients assess reputation, regulatory and any jurisdictional risk.

•You will be expected to deliver against targets for both productivity and quality, managing your own pipeline and taking feedback from approvers who are responsible for quality checking cases.

•The Analyst also supports the quality control process periodically in line with the EDD Methodology, take up additional tasks/responsibilities such as mentoring and assisting new joiners to achieve their target by sharing best practices.

•Strong secondary research skills

•Strong understanding of accounting knowledge and financial statements

•Understanding of regulatory frameworks and corporate structures including breakdown of complex ownership structures, documentation and external research

•Ability to translate and summarize information in foreign languages into concise and accurate English language

•Understanding of negative news and has experience in using corporate registries

•Understanding of OFAC & negative news screening databases such as LexisNexis, World Check, Dow Jones & Google News along with experience using corporate registries

 

Educational qualifications

•Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from reputable universities with excellent academic results, majoring in accounting or finance

 

Work experience

•0 to 1 year of relevant work experience preferred (KYC/AML/EDD)
