Lead Visual Designer

Qualification:

• Typically with a masters/bachelors degree in visual design/visual communication/UI design/Graphics Having certification in user centered design is plus

• • Exceptional candidates may come from varied background but must have a solid design portfolio.

Responsibility:

Business / Customer:

• • Convert business objectives into and optimized user experience design solutions.
• • Zero escalations and have the necessary appreciations from the customer.

Project /Process:

• • To have the brand understanding along with the fundamental of creative design understanding.
• • Develop visual concepts and interactive solutions for Web & mobile UI design/ Animation/ Branding and Communication design projects.
• • Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
• • Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons.
• • Work with Creative Leads, Lead Visual Designers, User Interface Designers and Developers to create and design visual treatments and interaction solutions that meet client specifications.
• • Stay abreast of the latest design trends and new media technologies.
• • Contribute towards updating knowledge assets and provide process improvements.
• • Follow quality assurance norms.
• • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

Delivery Excellence:

• • Follow and use reusable design components / assets, which are readily available in the design repository of the client.
• • Ensure proper file naming convention is being followed with proper folder structure and layer labeling.
• • Ensure the designs are as per the standards adhering to the mediums.
• • Peer review of the work in a mandatory, ensure the PL or the PM of the project does a QA before the files are delivered to the client / vertical team.
• • Ensure Zero Defects design outputs are delivered to the clients.
• • Perform design deliverables review of peers as well as Visual Designers.

People & Team Management:

• • Guides and mentors junior team members from a design and creativity perspective to ensure delivery of the module.
• • Act as a team player.
• • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for new joiners in the project team.
