WHAT YOU'LL DO


This position will support the Knowledge & Design Product Portfolio’s Internal squad, responsible for internal webpages on their enterprise content management system. We are looking for driven and results-oriented individuals to join the fast-growing team to develop the BCG of the future – faster, more agile, digital, effective, and efficient.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support web content creation and quality assurance testing of internal-facing informational webpages using BCG’s content management system, Sitecore
  • Partner with internal BCG teams to understand needs, answer questions, offer training, think of creative solutions and listen to feedback throughout the site building process
  • Work independently to upload content, leverage templates, review design and development of new webpages
  • Identify bugs / technical issues found in the system and log them into the project’s defect management system.
  • Support Dev and QA team in Automation Testing.
  • Manage and work on multiple on-going projects and effectively track time devoted to specific tasks for future analysis.
  • Support additional requests from product manager and lead analysts for analysis or documenting process steps to serve as inputs for future development of the platform

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


 

  • Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Computer Science or Business Information Technology
  • Preferably a rising Junior or Senior with strong academic performance
  • Willingness & readiness to upskill quickly on Selenium with Java, Testng; Cucumber Framework, Git, Maven Tool will be a plus.
  • Prior work/internship experience
  • No website development experience is required, but design and/or blog creation experience along with understanding of digital marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with Sitecore CMS tools a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
  • Able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment in line with BCG's Code of Conduct

To execute this transformation, we need people who can translate business needs into technology assets and decides “how” they are deployed, while owning the technology strategy and expertise development for a certain area of practice The Tech Area Lead is a senior technology leader with extensive experience thinking strategically around technology development and mentoring people. Strategically, you will have to oversee key decisions, including whether short term benefits with long term technical debt should be pursued over longer development lead time. Additionally, you will be integral in the decision of technical tooling and carry out regular reviews of performance metrics. From a people-management perspective, you will oversee technical personnel, including management of vendors. You will develop a close working relationship with the Portfolio Lead(s) to ensure alignment of technical resources and business priorities. You will inform key stakeholders about the state and direction of the tech strategy adopted by Chapter Leads, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. You will mentor the people around you and drive collaboration and knowledge sharing to benefit your area and the broader organization The portfolio you will lead technical is a new portfolio centered on Consulting Productivity. You will be expected to understand the consulting journey maps, innovate on how technology can improve consulting productivity, rapidly prototype ideas and solutions and build teams to architect, design and operate these solutions in production. This role will be focused heavily on harnessing the transformative capabilities and challenges of cutting-edge Generative Artificial Intelligence. Track leadership record, leading through influence, building long-term relationships and confidence building vision, roadmaps, budgets, priorities and objectives. Large expertise in technology enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects. Deep understanding of technical domain, and how it can further business goals Strong understanding of near and long-term technological trends impacting Portfolio(s) Working understanding of functional domain, processes, and priorities Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and ways of working (Scrum, XP, Devops…), understanding and applying “servant leader” mindset and with the ability to engage in Agile ceremonies to provide teams necessary direction and guidance Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working within in rapidly changing environment.
