Job Summary:
By joining us as Manager – Small Valve Plant Production you will Plan, coordinate and control the Production function of the plant to ensure that an effective daily production output, maintaining shop floor Safety, Quality and delivery.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Preparing the daily production plan for assembly based on the planning releases and priorities.
- Daily Monitoring on Plan Vs Actual and take actions to address the gap.
- Effective execution on production plan to ensure the timely valve readiness for FAT and shipment plan.
- Daily monitoring on WIP aging and ensure FIFO.
- Effective capacity utilization, Operators efficiency and effectiveness monitoring to act on reducing the nonproductive time.
- Periodically supervise all the equipment in shop and to act for replacement and additional requirements based on capacity demand.
- Implement and sustain lean practices (Kanban, Kaizen events, 6S, etc.) and develop Best Practices and Procedures.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing annual cost reductions.
- Capable to effectively handle the unionized work force to adhere all the standard norms in a well-adapted way.
- Responsible for resolving skill gaps of subordinates, developing accurate training programs and maintaining accurate resource alignment.
- Maintain high level of 5S and Safety with the strict team and workplace.
- Ensure the adherence of all process requirements to reduce the defects and customer complaint.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to optimally apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Experience with business systems.
- Basic knowledge on Control Valves assembly, testing and Instruments function.
- Basic knowledge on machining and geometrical tolerances.
- General understanding on special processes – Welding, Heat treatment, Surface treatment and Painting.
- Ability to handle the team of unionized work men and contract work men to have a smooth operation.
- Knowledge on Oracle
- Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015, Capable to face audits - ISO and OHSAS.
- Knowledge on valve assembly & testing fixtures etc.
- Able to work under pressure condition.
- Able to sustain 5S & safety requirements in his work area.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical / Instrumentation having Demonstrated ability in Engineering / Valve industries in production field and working in factory in a supervisory capacity for period of not less 5 than years.
- Having strong experience to handle the team of unionized laborers.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to optimally apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions and handle the internal and external audits as and when required.
- Oracle ERP working experience.
