About the role:
As a Salesforce Conga CPQ Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop applications aligned with long and short-term IT and business strategies, emphasizing integration expertise across the organization.
  • Effectively deliver technical design and stories, adhering to established development standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, address issues professionally, and manage project timelines effectively, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of object-oriented approaches in program design, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Provide technical remediation and resolution of technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce governor limits during custom solution development, leveraging features like asynchronous processing, batch processing, and efficient coding techniques.
  • Follow and guide efficient development processes, coding standards, design patterns, testing methodologies, and development tools and procedures established across the commercial engineering organization.
  • Thoroughly document every development task using design documents and flow diagrams to maintain clarity and consistency.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of development done by peers and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
  • Provide technical expertise, mentor, and motivation to team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, and deployment.
  • Prepare solution development estimates including technical planning and dependencies.
  • Work closely with the Engineers and Product teams to deliver the solution, identify and recommend ways to standardize configuration, and move towards a generic approach.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to develop innovative business solutions and applications.


About You
You are an ideal fit for the role of a Salesforce Conga CPQ Engineer if you have:

  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Conga (Apttus) CPQ projects, demonstrating implementation and design expertise.
  • 1+ years of experience in .Net and C# coding
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues.
  • Ability to design and develop best-of-breed applications using Conga.
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce Conga CPQ capabilities, best practices, limitations, and the ability to clearly communicate those to key stakeholders.
  • Strong technical knowledge of product modeling, pricing, quotation, contract lifecycle, and data migration including understanding of CPQ approvals and discounts.
  • A good grasp of technical and quality standards, best practices, and guidelines
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preference to AWS), Microservices (good to have) and integration tools (preference to Dell Boomi, Apigee, Informatica)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and applying DevOps principles.
  •  Knowledge of subscriptions, Zilliant Pricing and Commerce is an asset but not required.

Primary Responsibilities: You are fit for the role of a Senior Technical Business Analyst Engineering role if you have: Basic qualifications: Candidates should have Minimum 5 to 10 Years. Remote management of Windows systems located in various datacenters across the world Level 3 – Windows systems administration Recovering incidents, implementing changes, participate in strategic projects System upgrades such as firmware, OS, application, and security patch evaluation and deployment Coordination with hardware vendors for hardware related issues Providing support and assisting other groups in problem resolution. Communicate status updates on incident resolution, Change execution and projects as appropriate.   Required competencies:   Technical Extensive (4+ years L3) Windows systems administration experience. Windows server OS knowledge: Windows 2019, Windows 2016, Windows 2012. Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools, including working knowledge of high availability (failover) clustering. Working knowledge involving volumes from SAN and NAS and clear understanding of CIFS. Understanding of iSCSI and Fiber Channel Experience with snapshot technologies such as NetApp Snapshots and SnapDrive Hands on experience in resolving system performance issues, root cause analysis and complex problems. Hands on experience with server hardware: HP & Dell Rack mount and Blade servers. Experience with enterprise patch management systems such as IBM Endpoint Manager (IEM). Scripting experience in PowerShell will be an added advantage. Basics understanding of VMWare Virtualization technology.   Non-technical Must have worked in an ITIL compliant environment, worked with change control, incident mitigation, knowledge and problem management processes Analytical, organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and documentation skills. Work hours:  – 24*7 rotation including night shifts (9pm – 6am), shifts rotated on a monthly basis, total night shift not to exceed 50% of total months in a calendar year.
