JOB DESCRIPTION

CRG is an amazing place to start your banking career. CRG acts as a centralized origination and analytics hub for banking business across the globe, thus acting as its natural extension. We work closely with the Banking teams in preparing pitch books & marketing materials that the senior client bankers take to their clients during meetings. These books can relate to mergers & acquisitions, equity capital raising, debt capital raising or treasury solutions provided by the bank.

CCBSI Group is part of J.P. Morgan’s Commercial Banking business. It offers customized financial solutions for corporations with annual revenue of about $500 million to $2 billion. CCBSI collaborates with the firm’s other lines of businesses, including Corporate & Investment Bank and Asset & Wealth Management, to bring corporations access to integrated and sophisticated financial solutions, including cash management, capital raising, loan syndications, mergers and acquisitions advisory, private banking, treasury services, among other solutions. 

Primarily based out of North America, CCBSI has expanded its footprint to cover 20+ countries in APAC and EMEA. The business is organized into regional groups (Northeast, Midwest, South, West, Canada, Mexico, APAC and EMEA) and a variety of industry segments, including Financial Institution Group, Real estate, Entertainment, Energy, Technology and Healthcare Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research : Source and interpret company & industry information from a variety of data sources (company reports, Internet, online databases, JPMorgan proprietary content) with an aim to forming views on the industry, key trends, individual companies and to identify new clients for the commercial bank. Summarize and synthesize news updates/research reports on priority clients, weekly industry reports
  • Financial analysis: Extracting information from company filings, databases and other sources, using accounting knowledge & judgment. Analyzing and interpreting financial statements to prepare financial models, working capital analysis, peer benchmarking and other analysis
  • Execution support: Provide documentary support to bankers in connection with mandated transactions such as credit (TL, RC), DCM (High Yield, Leveraged loans), ECM (Private placement, SPAC transaction, IPO) and M&A deal
  • Treasury pitching material preparation : To prepare marketing materials for clients including components like liquidity analysis, collection and disbursements activity analysis, fraud protection, working capital benchmarking and pricing
  • Credit memo preparation : Working on credit deals including industry landscapes, target company profiles & benchmarking, financial statement analysis, risk grading, collateral analysis and term sheet preparation

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • MBA graduates from top tier school or completed any finance/accounting course (CA, CFA, FRM)
  • Excellent academic record
  • Knowledge of analyzing company financials /financial modeling in excel
  • Close attention to detail and ability to deliver output of a very high standard
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to deliver quality under pressure
  • Strong analytical bend of mind and expert handling of excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Relevant work experience in the banking or credit domain is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities: Management and Governance Forums Reporting – Support all aspects of the controls monthly reporting process to meet the local and global reporting deadlines. This includes coordinating the preparation of governance decks; taking care of meeting logistics, minutes, etc.; and preparing monthly scorecards and metrics that will be reviewed in Senior Management and governance and controls forums.  Metrics – Act as lead for the metrics that are owned and overseen by the team, including managing required changes to the metrics.  This involves end-to-end development and automation of metrics, in partnership with Product Owner and Technology teams. Lead metrics generation and analysis, coordinating relevant stakeholders input for explaining key variations and related issues.  Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for metrics generation / execution processes and keep documentation updated to reflect any subsequent changes.
