Position Summary...

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. What you'll do...

As Manager – FP&A, this role will own end-to-end deliverables as Business Finance Partner & drive short & long range planning for the Business Segment and work closely with senior management & US finance teams to achieve the center’s financial goals.

What you'll do:

Be the Finance Business Partner for the Business Segment – Collaborate with business leaders to understand their business needs and provide financial insights to support their decision-making processes. Collaborate with the Business Segment leadership to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets, providing regular variance analysis and actionable recommendations to aid business decisions. Conduct in-depth financial analysis of the Business Segment, costs, and key performance indicators. Proactively provide view of risks/opportunities and other forward-looking information to mitigate risks. Assist in strategic decision-making processes by providing financial modeling and analysis for new initiatives, expansion plans, internal/external benchmarking, cost-saving opportunities & ensuring financial targets are met. Drive simplification & standardization of overall FP&A processes in partnership with US Finance, Enterprise Business Services and other groups so that stakeholders get a consistent experience Work closely with WM Corporate to ensure adherence to Corp Finance policies and share/learn best practices. Develop and maintain relevant performance metrics and dashboards to track the financial health of Business Segment. Present findings to senior management for review and action

 


What you'll bring:

  • Strong FP&A experience is mandatory.
  • 6-10 Years, CA Or CA Inter, ICWA
  • Relevant experience in Controllership and an overall understanding of local tax compliances (direct, indirect tax, STPI/ SEZ, transfer pricing).
  • Experience in working with matrix organization structure, development centers is preferred
  • Attention to detail, ability to adhere to deadlines and drive strategic initiatives partnering with senior leadership
  • Strong written and oral communication skills will be needed.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new reporting tools and technologies.
  • Should be able to inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity, commitment and trustworthiness.
