What this job involves

Roles and responsibility

  • Leading the planning cycle exercise (Budgeting and Forecasting) and P&L statements, Cash flow and Working Capital.
  • Focus on daily and month-end accounting to determine results, including P&L activity (management fees, fee splitting, gross-ups, reclasses), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals), and accounts-receivable cash application, in compliance with GAAP.
  • Identify key stakeholders and analyze their needs & expectations and provide Operational solutions.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of revenue, cost, and balance sheet account to ensure required controls.
  • Prepare forecast & variance analysis for the business to ensure proper budgetary controls.
  • Provide insights about spending trends, cost-savings initiatives, and margin opportunities
  • Monitor and lead regular reviews to ensure key business metrics are met.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management and clients, recommending further courses of action.
  • Drive key initiatives for process improvements and drive efficiencies.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Managing business & client escalations and provide appropriate solutions.
