Role & Responsibilities 

Purpose: - The candidate will drive growth in  business in identified segments. They will be expected to work closely with customers, channels and sales team to develop strategies for accelerating growth.

 

Responsibilities:

Direct Ownership

  • Assess product positioning w.r.t to competition & target market segments and develop strategies to meet AOP & drive growth- Will be achieving the Product Specialist AOP  & might handle individually certain key Strategic accounts for specific products
  • Collaborate with APAC BDM, Commercial and India finance team to drive annual pricing process & benchmarking.
  • Find opportunities for Promotional Schemes to drive product line growth
  • Identify training needs for direct and indirect channels and conduct training programs to improve sales team proficiencies
  • Build a comprehensive product demo / sampling plan across India and drive the same. Monitor demo inventory usage and accountability to have effective return on investment
  • Work with the commercial team and customers on technical queries & quality complaints
  • Analyzing various reports to drive strategic decisions for target market growth
  • Developing both tactical as well strategic GTM’s to ensure accurate penetration of the product
  • Mapping activities :- Customer, competition, Market Segments, SKU’s etc
  • Developing innovative processes & solutions for a smoother & quicker business drive
  • Maintain Bowlers, trackers & dashboards

Supports

  • Engage with marketing team for driving product awareness campaigns and new product launches and marketing collateral development.
  • Support commercial team for leads/enquiries of respective product lines.
  • Working with the inside sales for lead generations
  • Support commercial and supply chain teams for ensuring right level of inventory stocking as per business needs and the responsibility for liquidating the same ensuring NIL P&L impact
  • Taking up projects that can either boost or safeguard the business in lieu of the various country & market guidelines (for example; Localization)
  • Responsible for planning and execution of Roadshows, Workshops and other demand generation activities.
  • Pricing analysis

Candidate Requirement:

Education & Experience levels:

  • Masters or Graduation in Science/Biology. MBA from a Tier I school with be preferred.
  • Core understanding of product portfolio managerial skills, responsibilities and market segments
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • Data analysis skills will be recommended
  • Demonstrate learning agility

Nature of experience:  Overall +10 years of work experience of which 4-6 years of confirmed ability in core sales of Laboratory equipments or in core product management role.
