Job Description

 

Title: Metadata Engineer

 

Total Experience: 4 – 7 years

Relevant Experience: 3+ years 

Notice Period: Immediate to 20 days 

Location: Nanakramguda, Hyderabad 
 

Responsibilities

  • Setup and configuration of metadata management tools for optimum performance.
  • Scan and catalogue data assets, including creation of data lineage.
  • Coordinate with the vendors to resolve tool issues and to request enhancements.
  • Integration between the tools to provide single pane of glass for business users.
  • Perform data profiling and automate the jobs.
  • Develop and implement Data Quality rules.
  • Design and build solutions using the tools for stakeholder requirements.
  • Support users with data uploads and updates using tool templates.
  • Setup workflows for Data Maintenance.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum engineering degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Quality using Informatica IDQ/BDQ or other Data Observability platforms like Anomalo or MonteCarlo.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Alation Data Governance/Data Catalog tool. Experience on Informatica AXON/EDC will also be considered.
  • Good knowledge on SQL to be able to query data from databases.
  • Some development experience preferred with Python or a scripting language to be able to automate jobs/tasks.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to provide out of the box solutions.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP instance. 4. Printer Administration: Manage and configure printers in SAP systems, ensuring proper print functionality across different modules. 5. Manage all non-HANA DB administration and operations (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase, MaxDB), with a minimum of 2 non-HANA DB exposures 6. Experience in Migrations / refresh / Upgrades / Builds and Rollouts of All SAP components 7. Distribute the online SAP user workload and monitor and manage the SAP background job workload. 8. Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies. 9. Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.) 10. Database Administration: Manage and maintain databases such as Oracle, HANA, and others, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting 11.
