Job description 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
     
  • 5 years of experience in design verification, verifying digital logic or CAD.
     
  • Experience creating and using verification components and environments in standard verification methodology.
     

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
     
  • Experience in supporting EDA tools as an Application Engineer.
     
  • Experience as a software developer in Python or another scripting language such as Perl.
     
  • Experience with hardware description languages such as verilog and system verilog.
     
  • Experience verifying digital logic using simulation techniques.
     
  • Excellent Unix/Linux command line skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, enhance, and support Design Verification CAD solutions that integrate with our existing design verification and coverage closure infrastructure.
     
  • Gather requirements from key stakeholders and prioritize new features and enhancements.
     
  • Document flow infrastructure and train users on new systems.
     
  • Plan the verification of digital design blocks by understanding the design specification and interacting with design engineers to identify important verification scenarios.
     
  • Participate with architecture and system design teams in architecture definition/discussions.
