JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, build and maintain multiple core network Test Environments 
  • Engage with project teams – driving the Design, Build, Test and Delivery of new fixed and mobile services or improvements to existing services. Leading technical discussions and investigations across mobile core networks
  • Drive effective incident, change, problem, risk, and vulnerability management. Tracing network issues and investigating dataflows using network tools available (Wireshark/Netscout/CNOM/ENIQ)
  • Drive and maintain alignment of the Test Environments with the live EE network
  • Champion and drive continuous improvement for the service that we offer to our key stakeholders – Test, Design and Operations. Promoting and encouraging effective automation solutions for our mobile core
  • Work co-operatively with other business communities and third parties, to improve service performance, quality, and customer experience.
  • Lead the config changes with CICD pipeline and drive the successful implementation with the sanity check performed
  • Ensure documentation and support procedures are kept up to date.

Skills Required

  • Technology design - You partner with the business to understand and analyse user requirements and inform the architecture design for software, systems and networks.
  • Product and service knowledge - You demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex, technical infrastructure, products and services. You develop bespoke solutions to meet short, medium and long-term customer needs.
  • Be agile - You identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement. You contribute to projects as a subject matter expert or content owner.
  • Expertise of packet core networks – MME, ePDG, EPG, WPG, SGW, PGW & DNS systems. 
  • Proven Expert Knowledge of the EPC networks & Mobile Cloud Core 
  • Demonstrate 5G / LTE architecture call flows and protocols such as Diameter, SIP, Radius, SIGTRAN etc. 
  • Hands on Experience on MME, PCC & PCG on Ericsson Vendor
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities & Qualys installations
