Job Responsibilities

• An opportunity to join the team working on UK’s number #1 network as we undertake a significant digital architectural evolution and introduce automated labs environments & the wider orchestration of our operations. 
• Responsible for developing, building and maintaining multiple core network test environments including ORACLE STP/DSR, Nokia HSS & HLR and Ericsson IMOS (SBG, CSCF, MTAS, IP Works, IBCF, BGF). You will use your proven expert knowledge of voice platforms, Radius, diameter and AAA and track record in mobile telcoms to build and operate test and innovation environments continually deploying and investigating faults to protect our production systems.
• Responsible for ensuring live reflective environments through planning and scheduling software, config and platform upgrades and performing pre- and post-checks. Experience of working with network function monitoring and probing tools an advantage.
• Continuous Improvement mindset with relevant software engineering experience an advantage to drive improvements to core operational processes including security management, fault investigation & fix and software deployment / service configuration.
• Will play a key role in evolving our infrastructure and service to an Environments as a Service (EaaS) by adapting working practices and operational activities into CICD pipelines.

Skills Required

• E2E Knowledge of IP routing and protocols
• Experience in coding languages (Python, Perl) 
• Knowledge of Radius, diameter and AAA. 
• Nokia HSS/HLR
• Ericsson IMS (SBG, CSCF, MTAS, IPWorks, IBCF, BGF)
• Automation experience for CI / CD Pipeline
• Experience of OSS tools and systems
• Experience in using Tracing tools e.g., Wireshark, NetScout
• Network Function Virtualisation – MANO, VMWare stack
• Ericsson ENM
• Experience of IP/ATM/MPLS transport systems.
