What success looks like in this role:

  • Design and build components of Pega enterprise applications to some of the world’s leading organizations on all project assignments.
  • Partner with both the client and the business team to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of a project, from participating in the requirements, design and build phases; delivering high-quality deliverables, through to user acceptance testing.
  • You will work as a Pega lead guiding the architecture and design of the Pega platform and frameworks, undertake options analysis to design optimum solution and present the solution to the customer jointly with the Lead Solution Architect
  • Set and manage standards and guidelines for Pega development and maintenance
  • Guide future adoption of Pega functionality, build and sell business cases for Pega extensions to our Clients Architecture team once Pega team finish their contract (after 6 months into the engagement)
  • Provide technical training and user support to technical and business groups.
  • Provide mentoring and support to the Internal Unisys team.

 

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • B.E / B.Tech of equivalent graduate degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ of total experience and at least 4 years of development experience on Pega Platform. Experience in Pega version 7.2+ is preferable.
  • Pega Certified Lead Systems Architect preferred, or Senior System Architect (CSSA) is mandatory
  • Must have hands-on experience in Activities, Flows, UI Rules, Data transforms, Decision Rules, Declarative rules, Correspondence, Integration Connectors  and Services (REST, SOAP, File, etc.), CMIS Integration, Rule Inspector, Reports and Dashboards.
  • Must have working knowledge of Rule Versioning, Rule Sets and knowledge of Rule availability.
  • Must have working knowledge of configuring Access groups, Roles and Privileges.
  • Must have knowledge on Email Listeners
  • Must have knowledge on Pega Guardrails and experience in running tracer and clipboard.
  • Should have Knowledge of improving application performance by utilizing Pega diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features
  • Must understand Pega interfaces and have proven integration experience between Pega and other systems.
  • Experience in multiple roles on enterprise wide application development teams
  • Ability to distill technical detail into business summary, and vice versa
  • Drive for results
  • Experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale business centric and process-based applications.
  • Exposure to a variety of technologies, including but not limited to WebSphere or Weblogic, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), .NET, Oracle DB2 and MS/SQL. With specific expertise in some of the above.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Industry or functional domain expertise
