We are seeking a Technical Lead - Salesforce to drive the engineering strategy and implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud, APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning. You will provide technical expertise, mentor the team, and resolve technical issues. With 8+ years of experience and strong knowledge of Salesforce technologies, you will design and develop best-of-breed applications and perform configuration and customization. Experience in cloud technologies, integration, and working in an Agile environment is required.

About the Role

As a Technical Lead - Salesforce, you will:

Drive the Engineering strategy, planning, design, and implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud, APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning
Provide and guide the team in best practices, technical standards, and quality management including managing code reviews
Perform technical research, prototyping, and other exploration activities to recommend technology tools and technologies
Provide technical remediation and resolution of technical issues
Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, and value diverse ideas with various cross functional and product teams, Technical Leads, Architects and third parties
Provide technical expertise, mentor, and motivate team members
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation and deployment
Prepare solution development estimates including technical planning and dependencies
Work closely with the Engineers and Product teams to deliver the solution, identify and recommend ways to standardize configuration, and move towards a generic platform

About You

You are an ideal fit for the role of a Technical Lead - Salesforce if you have:

8+ years of experience
4+ years in a technical leadership position designing, developing, and integrating Salesforce
Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components. Knowledge and integration with Conga an asset but not required.
Be able to design and develop best-of-breed applications using Salesforce
Be able to perform common configuration and customization of Salesforce like custom object, fields, and workflow rules
Strong technical knowledge on product modeling, pricing, quotation, contract lifecycle, and data migration including understanding of CPQ approvals and discounts
Experience with cloud (preference to AWS) and integration (preference to Dell Boomi, Apigee, Informatica)
A good grasp of technical and quality standards, best practices and guidelines
Experience working in an Agile environment and DevOps principles
Knowledge of Product Trials and Integration, subscriptions, and Commerce an asset but not required.
