Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
. primarily responsible for creating and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines for research platform.
. Resource will be working on 70:30 capacity with DevOps and Development related activities.
. Familiarity with Container Orchestration tools
. Understanding of application code and build scripts
. Strong Understanding of infrastructure components and how they are architected in AWS and Azure
. Must be able to multitask and work well with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
. Experience with public cloud migrations/transformations is desirable.
. Must be highly collaborative and be able to work in a team environment, with technical and Business people
. Participate in reviews for application security and architecture
. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to translate technical detail into non-technical information
. A strong ability to learn new technologies
. Strong ability to coordinate activities in a coordinated and highly visible manner.
. Participate in the team-wide Change Management process as both implementer and verifier, ensuring changes are completed efficiently and correctly
. Keeper and enforcer of the technical and tools standards
Essential Skills/Experience Required:
. Minimum 5 years Experience with DevOps practices and automation tooling
. Experience with Terraform scripting
. Experience with AWS cloud services
. Experience with Java
. Experience with DevOps orchestration tools such as Jenkins and Gitlab
. Experience with managed container services (ECS, EKS, and Fargate) is a plus.
. Experience with AMIs (Amazon Machine Images)
