We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager at DHL. Roles and Responsibilities

 Vendor Management: 

• Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors. 

• Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured. 

• Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their Responsibilities and obligations. 

• Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors. 

• Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them. • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

• Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

Statutory Compliance: 

• Compliance with respect to periodical returns for PF, ESI, Bonus, Payment of wages and Minimum wages Act. 

• To maintain repository of statutory records for reference and inspection purpose. 

• Coordination for audits / inspection by Government authorities on statutory obligations. 

• Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies 

• Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues 

• Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations 

• Assess the business future ventures to identify possible compliance risks 

• Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide Advice or training 

• Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate 

Process Control & Internal / External Audits: (Manpower Vendor Related) 

• Assistance to be provided with respect to implementation of Company policies, procedures, SOPs from time to time. 

• Coordination with Internal and External Audits requirements and strive for nil noncompliance. 

Welfare & Sustainability:

 • Employee grievance redressal. 

• Ensure employee participation in the Volunteering and Sustainability initiatives of the organization. 

Health & Safety: 

• Ensure that the Company Security, Health, Safety & Environment policy, and procedures are observed in all HR related activities/functions

Manpower Planning & Resourcing: 

• Manpower Budgeting and creating Recruitment Request in Talent link. 

• Co-coordinating with Corp HR Team for recruitment and onboarding process. 

• Ensuring the CTC offered is as per budget and with internal balance. 

• Managing employee exit process in coordination with Corp HR / Payroll 

Payroll processing: 

• To adhere to payroll processing timeline. 

• To validate the Employee masters as and when the changes effected. 

• Monitor the reimbursement, entitlements, and other monetary benefits of staff. 

• Coordination with Payroll team for smooth process of payroll. 

Performance Management:

 • Timeline adherence to Goal/KPI setting process & to Mid-Term review and the year-end review. 

Process Control & Internal Audits: 

• Assistance to be provided with respect to implementation of Company policies, procedures, SOPs from time to time. 

• Coordination with Internal and External Audits requirements and strive for nil noncompliance. 

Learning & Development: 

• Coordination with BU / RO / HO on L&D needs of employees and effective implementation at the regional level. 

MIS: 

• Preparing HR reports and MIS reports for South 2 Region. 

• MOM Tracker and follow ups 

• Maintaining Employee Master Data 

• Preparing HR Deck for Monthly / Quarterly Review 

• Assistance in HR reports preparations and when required at BU as well as Corp level. 

Employee Engagement:

 • To effectively implement activities for Employee Engagement at Workplace. 

• Coordination on Employee engagement
