We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our transport operations. You will be responsible for executing transactions, making business decisions, and maintaining strong relationships with transport customers. Additionally, you will oversee vendor management, participate in continuous improvement projects, and ensure compliance with Human Resources policies. You must have the ability to meet contractual commitments, report on KPIs, and participate in monthly operations performance reviews. Strong leadership and communication skills are required to effectively manage a team of high-quality personnel.

• To roll out transport operations and manage on an on going basis. 

• To execute transactions and makes business decisions with in the given scope and recommendations in order to achieve business and financial results, prevent loss of partnership and eliminate the risk of substantial expenditures of time, human resources and/or funds.

• Maintain strong and effective relationships with transport customer/s. 

• Vendor management & review for agreed services 

• Continuous improvement projects 

 Working with operating team for managing & review of on going operations to meet expectation of customer. 

 Participate in the management of other key suppliers including fuel, maintenance, tyres, breakdown services etc. 

 Liaison with authorities as required

 Provide required data / information for various internal departments such as finance. 

• Execute given duties in operations at site. 

• Ensure meet our contractual commitments for service, cost and reporting. 

• KPI reporting transport operations for the site. 

• Present & participate in monthly operations performance review. 

• Oversees the overall people processes to ensure compliance with Human Resources policies 

• Estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work to subordinates. 

• Participate in recruitment process to ensure that all posts are filled with high quality personnel, and in conjunction with HR that appropriate training, development and reward mechanisms are in place to attract, retain and motivate employees to achieve required performance levels. 

• Participate in developing performance targets and goals and evaluates it against those targets and goals among his team.
