Automatad is actively seeking a dynamic & result oriented ‘Manager - Account Management’ to lead our team of publisher account managers and hold end-end accountability for revenue realization, ongoing service deliveries, relationship management & CSAT across all of our growing customer base of web publishers.

The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience in publisher account management along with 2 years of leading a team of publisher account managers for a programmatic advertising vendor with strong exposure to mid-market web publishers from North American markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor & develop a team of exceptional publisher account managers
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key publishers, gain a deep understanding of their business, highlight the value of Automatad’s offerings & maximise revenue realisation from our publisher base
  • Participate/oversee all publisher communications to ensure concise & professional communications (both written & verbal) with all stakeholders within the publisher team across all of the different business scenarios such as setting/managing publisher expectations, showcasing outcomes/results, addressing critical issues/escalations, closing upsells/cross-sells, conducting periodic business reviews etc.
  • Develop, measure, track & report all account management KPIs & goals such as retention, up sell/cross sell, CSAT/NPS etc.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze customer data to identify trends, address inefficiencies and dig out opportunities for revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally including sales, ad operations, technical support, product and engineering, to ensure that publisher needs are being met
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and provide feedback to internal teams to drive product enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in programmatic advertising

 

Mandatory requirements:

  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience in publisher account management along with 2+ years of leading a team of publisher account managers for a programmatic advertising vendor with strong exposure to mid-market web publishers from North American markets
  • Solid understanding of the publisher side programmatic advertising ecosystem including ad operations.
  • Experience working with web publishers, with a focus on driving revenue growth from programmatic advertising
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in develop and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth through a team of at least 3 account managers

 

Desirable qualities:

  • Ability to managing multiple projects simultaneously - the role requires managing multiple publisher accounts, each with its own unique set of requirements & account managers will be expected to prioritize and delegate their workload effectively to ensure that all publisher expectations are being met at all times
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team cross functional team in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet their expectations
