Job Description
Primary
•Plan, co-ordinate and control the construction activities on the field.
•Identify suitable team of experts from the Construction group based on the proposal & communicate the construction/fabrication & installation related requirements of the bid.
•Review status & proposal deliverables at regular intervals to ensure adherence to timelines.
•Ensure identification, documentation & quantification of appropriate risks along with mitigation plan.
•Ensure the preparation, the build-up and the dismantle of the construction site.
•Ensure that safety regulations, quality standards and relative procedures and practices are met during the execution of the construction activities.
•Quickly identify construction issues/risks identifying and implementing the required mitigation actions.
•Organise the project construction activities and the assigned resource providing all needed explanation/support.
•Supervise the activities and performance of the Subcontractors involved in the construction activities.
•Promptly manage the incidents occurred in the site/field.
Shared Across Functionally
•Co-ordinate generation & resolution of queries of contractors with client through the Marketing Manager.
•Collect the activities report prepared by the Subcontractors and authorise their payment within his/her limits of authorization.
•Support the Project Manager in the evaluation of the project changes (evaluating their feasibility, identifying the technical solution to implement and identifying the required resources) including the ones that can require a change order (to be discussed with the Client).
•Support the Project Manager in the preparation of the Project Plan and recommend appropriate. Construction/Execution philosophy to the Project & Proposal Manager and also in solving any issue/problem with the Subcontractor and Local Authorities.
•Regularly communicate to Project Manager the performance and status of the construction activities.
