In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy for Sales function that aligns with our business objectives. Your primary focus will be identifying training needs, designing, and executing relevant programs, and assessing their impact on Sales performance.

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Learning Needs Analysis:

o  Develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives that support Genpact’s strategic objectives and Sales goals.

o  Partner and consult with business, HR, and SMEs to identify learning needs linked to business KPIs

·         Sales curriculum or learning roadmap design & development

o  Create a structured curriculum that covers product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and other relevant topics

o  Plan training interventions for the Sales team based on learning needs analysis for a personalized learning experiences for different seller personas

o  Collaborate with subject matter experts, sellers, Sales leaders, external vendors to validate and enhance content accuracy

o  Oversee the development and delivery of Sales L&D programs that meet the needs of the global Sales force. These include new seller onboarding, Sales skills refreshers, products & offerings, and Sales strategies

o  Leverage new-age learning practices, methods, frameworks & measures to design and deliver a new format of the leadership development program

o  Partner with the Domain & Digital L&D teams/academies to ensure alignment with the leadership development design principles.

·         Learning program administration and data analytics

o  Manage multiple projects concurrently, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

o  Execute, co-facilitate the training sessions and other stages of the training program

o  Take all actionable to closure for the learning programs and raise red flags as per milestones

o  Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other tools to enhance the delivery and tracking of learning experiences

o  Use data and analytics to establish Training ROI and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance sales training (Attendance rate, Completion rate, post-training assessment results, Learner satisfaction rate, Job performance impact)

o  Continuously update and refine existing training materials to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

o  Developing and managing the Sales training knowledge base

 

·         Learning program communication, stakeholder communication

o  Create the comms design and messaging for launch, rollout, closure (Mailers, MS teams, launch call, etc.)

o  Track and publish calendars, relevant dashboards, reports, and newsletters

o  Keep the participants engaged with regular updates using a variety of communication channels

o  Create and/or provide inputs on various collateral creation like mailers, videos, presentations, splashes for the learning program

o  Provide support and guidance to sales professionals using training materials and systems.

o  Maintain open and effective communication with sales leaders, stakeholders, and team members.

·         Stay updated on emerging learning and training technologies to enhance the Sales learning experience

o  Use Power BI reports and/or Excel based training records to analyze effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements

o  Analyze latest trends and best practices in automation, new styles of training and recommend best practices

o  Seek regular feedback from all stakeholders including participants, their Reporting Managers, HR & Leaders to improve consistently on the program effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications
·         Minimum qualifications - MANDATORY

o  Should have experience working as L&D partner for a Sales in a professional services firm

o  Relevant experience in executing and scaling leadership development programs

o  Should be aware of new-age learning (digital, just-in-time/micro-learning, blended)

o  Good data analysis, excel skills & possess good expertise in L&D analytics (Ability to analyze, interpret and share insights)

o  Strong influencing skills to engage with business leaders and partners thoughtfully and successfully

o  Excellent verbal and written skills

 

·         Preferred qualifications:

o  Knowledge of sales processes, tools, and strategies relevant to the professional services industry.

o  Certification in training and development, project management, instructional design, psychometric assessment (all or any)
