JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a resourceful candidate to join its Financial Planning and Analytics (“FP&A”) team based at the firm’s office in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of solar and wind energy projects within a fast-paced environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving and attention to detail.

What you’ll do day-to-day

In this role, you’ll work on a wide variety of FP&A initiatives where you’ll be expected to prepare and refine financial models to value the overall renewables business. You’ll also build metrics and run analytics on the health of the business for various internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be required to analyze implications of key project documents and other project material on project returns and capital structures. You’ll also be required to create decks with impressive storyboarding and related materials to present to internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll be expected to conduct industry analyses and prepare competitor analysis reports with insights and action items.

Who we’re looking for

  • The ideal candidate should have at least one to three years of experience in valuations, financial analytics and/or equity research concepts, preferably in the energy, real estate, or financial services sectors
  • The candidate should have an in-depth understanding of corporate finance, accounting and financial analysis principles
  • Candidate should have experience in building and/or reviewing complex financial models on MS Excel
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical abilities, impressive communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • The candidate should be able to collaborate with teams located in different time zones and jurisdictions
  • Candidate with an MBA, CFA, or similar certifications, along with renewable energy experience, would have an added advantage
