Job Description:
A vacancy for an IT Operations Specialist has arisen within Airbus in Bangalore, India. The successful applicant will join the team in Airbus Commercial, Connectivity Security, DINS. The ideal candidate has strong security & operational skills and will be responsible for the following tasks:
Ensure the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment as well as the timely delivery and deployment of IT products and services
Deliver and deploy IT products and services for Network connectivity with end-to-end accountability in conjunction with the Product Manager and technical experts.
Maintain service level agreements of products and services within his/her responsibility
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with customer requirements and they continue to meet or exceed expectations
Monitor both insourced and outsourced teams and activities
Communicate updates and feedback regarding the product
Provide product support depending on the needs of the company
Perform the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration and event management
This role will involve some travel for business once a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 4-8 years of development experience

Manage, update and control network security monitoring tooling
Requesting tests and component integrations
Follow up of solution deployment
Reviewing documentation of production
Follow Project Entry into Operation
User support in case of incidents
Change coordination, support and review
Service Delivery by ensuring the SLA

Partner & subcontractors management
Review SOC L1 use cases
Mockup management
Support to technical experts for equipment upgrade
Manage requests, rights and permissions
MANDATORY: Technical skills/experience (as an example)
Infrastructure and Security Monitoring (e.g. Nagios, Centreon or Zabbix, Splunk)
NICE TO HAVE: Technical skills/experience (at least 2 mandatory in the list below)
Network security platforms such as: Cisco ASA, Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls, F5 BigIP APM, Cisco ISE, Broadcom Proxy (former Bluecoat)
VPN client technologies such as: Cisco anyconnect, F5 APM Edge Client
Cloud security solutions: CASB, Cloud Internet Gateway (Netskope), AWS, Azure
Network security skills: VPN tunnels and architectures, Network Segmentation, Firewall Filtering, WebProxy Filtering, NGFW, IDS/IP, Network Access Control (NAC)
MANDATORY: Communication skills/experience
International exposure
Ability to synthesize, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics
Good communication skills
