JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research team based out of the firm’s offices in Hyderabad/Bangalore/Gurugram, India.

What you’ll do day-to-day

You’ll be working closely with the front office group in London and India team to analyze and assess credit quality of private credit issuers in the corporate credit space. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to preparing detailed financial models and investment write-ups, performing investment due diligence including companies’ business and competitor landscape, forming an independent opinion about the attractiveness of the opportunity, that is, articulating the findings clearly, interfacing with companies, and interacting with key constituents including senior management teams internally. You’ll also be required to perform independent research on companies and work across all sectors.

Who we’re looking for

  • The candidate should have a Master’s degree in finance and/or a CFA/CA with two to four years of relevant experience in public/private credit and/or investment advisory
  • Candidate should possess excellent fundamental corporate credit analysis skills
  • Candidates with exceptional technical and analytical skills – financial modeling, underwriting skills, company research, and investment memo preparation – will be preferred
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and should be able synthesize and communicate information in an understandable format
  • The candidate should be attentive to detail, self-motivated and have the ability to effectively interact with trading desks/stakeholders
