Customer Services Digital Team at Airbus India (AISD) is engaged in development of the digital products for our customers (Airlines, Lessors etc.) & internal business stakeholders (AIS and S business lines) in close collaboration with IM teams. With reorganization which is effective from 1st Jan 2023, the department is organized into development groups, deployment & support teams & digital business growth team. Innovation team of digital acts transversely across the department. A new group on digital business growth is set up to enter a new era in aircraft digital technology. Airbus has developed and adapted state-of-the-art solutions through the aircraft lifecycle, moving from unscheduled to planned maintenance, increasing fleet optimisation and reliability, expanding aircraft connectivity. Digital growth team is at the forefront of supporting its customers (Airlines, Lessors etc) to reach their digital transformation and has developed an end-to-end approach, based on a solid relationship and understanding of the customer’s needs. It also includes entering into new partnerships, establishing growth elements for business and ensuring full customer success.
Short Description of the job
Digital Partnerships Development Manager will be the primary focal point for the Asset Management Strategic Business Growth Axis and responsible for the end-to-end Onboarding/Enablement of Alliance Partners.
The position will work with a global team of Digital Partnerships Development Managers, Asset Integration Manager, Strategic Designers, Early Adopter Program Manager, Sales and Marketing.
Main Responsibilities
● Partnerships development Manager is responsible to manage, develop and expand digital partnerships including Digital Alliance and collaborative value-based business models, working in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Business Owner, Transversal Portfolio Manager, Innovation Squads, Legal, Procurement, Finance etc.)
● Main interface with the Alliance Partners & other Airbus entities (procurement/legal) for Digital Solutions and is responsible for the entire E2E lifecycle, from the onset of opportunity Identification/assessment through contract signature to commercialization of the product launch specifically for the Asset Management growth Axis.
● In charge of identifying the right partner to support the business growth or ideas in collaboration with Procurement and relevant Digital Solutions department, in line with Digital partnerships portfolio analysis
● Defines key business terms (KBTs) with the partners, relevant department Legal /Procurement / Sale and the support of the right Digital Solution department, in line with existing Partnership contract
● Elaborate synthetic dossiers for Airbus Senior Management and, when relevant, for Digital Alliance Board and Project Committees.
Experience Needed: 5+ years of work experience in Business Partnership Development, Strategic Forecasting, Financial Modeling & Value Assessment, Business planning, Programme management and good understanding of digital technologies.
Qualifications:
● Master’s Degree (Postgraduate, or MBA from reputed institutions)
● Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aeronautics or any other branch of Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT) or computer science
Skills & Competencies
1. Knowledge of Aircraft Leasing Business and their ecosystem, Airbus digital solutions
2. Ability to communicate with customers and stakeholders without any ambiguity
3. Ability to work with cross-functional teams & stakeholders including marketing, sales, legal & procurement, Services Strategy, Finance, etc
4. Ability to coordinate with the Business Owner, Integration Manager or any other team member to align with strategy, scope & objectives.
5. Good team player, have the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams including remote teams to ensure consistent ways of working
6. Partner relationships management (calls, meetings, minutes, engagement)
7. One Airbus Voice assurance to partners
8. Engagement and negotiation strategy and tactics elaboration
9. Regular and streamlines Management Briefings to ensure appropriate decision makings and in-due time management support
10. Curious and open-minded for change and continuous improvement
11. Ability and appetite to travel on need basis
