Airbus is looking for a Group Manager – ERP Data Management to join Bangalore, India location.
Group Manager-ERP Data Management is part of the Information Management (IM) function and is responsible for the day to day management of ERP Data Management (part of ERP Solutions), which is located within IM Global In-house Center (GIC). Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams.
ERP Solutions is a transversal organization acting as center of excellence for every topic related to SAP at Airbus: from infrastructure, basis,Data management,Integration, development to user experience activities, with high level technologies and functional architecture. Our team is answering business needs from the whole Airbus organization across the world, mainly Europe, and follows the last way of working such as agile-at-scale, with several squads working in parallel to deliver products in a user centric approach (customer satisfaction). Therefore, we are in contact with every Airbus domains using SAP as a digital backbone, from manufacturing to customer services, finance, procurement, etc.
As a Group Manager, you will be working with ERP teams to achieve the ambitious goal of digital transformation in the SAP context, specifically considering the technical skills (SAP BW on hana,SAP Data Services, Native Hana, SLT, etc), it is expected that you are passionate about delivery and service excellence, with a strong understanding and respect for Airbus values. You will establish team goals by fully understanding the business strategy and considering the organizational priorities, identify and evaluate business & technical trends and choose a course of action to achieve the same. You will accomplish the team results/performance by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring coaching and leading the team in the right direction.
Primary responsibilities
Manage and lead the ERP Data Management within the respect of Airbus values
Lead the team using a performance management and development process with the right training program.
Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when it’s required.
Work with Human Resources Team to interview and recruit right team based on the business need
Coach, mentor, provide oversight and direction to the team accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
Develop the team to take the delegation and empower them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's goal and objectives
Maintain transparent and appropriate communication with the team
Responsible to take business decisions in accordance with organization policies and procedures
Responsible for overall budget management,Overall Cost /budget Estimation and control by managing all aspects
Promote a high quality of end-user experience by considering last SAP technologies to implement to answering the business needs
Work closely with the ERP business teams to ensure the projects meet business needs, on time, on cost and on quality
Take the accountability of developing and maintaining a detailed project follow-up & ensure that deliverables are in line with the timeline. Manage accordingly risks through mitigation planning
Ability to provide solutions, determine overall management direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
Managing coordination of the teams and working groups engaged globally in the different projects
Manage global communications and alignment with all stakeholders
Liaises with, and updates progress to, senior management
Help the team identify their appropriate career path & develop competencies of the Team and prepare for future competencies
Continuously look new opportunities within the frame of Global In-house Centre Technology Services Solutions
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Post Graduate with 10+ years of experience in ERP domain. Experience in delivering SAP applications/projects with following criteria:
Expert level:
Leadership skills & Project Management
Business / affairs Management
Service Delivery Management
Ability to engage and motivate people
Experience in building new teams
Defining technology roadmaps
SAP BW on Hana, SAP Data Service,SLT experience
Intermediate level:
Understanding of at least one SAP module process, preferably production or manufacturing
Ability to shift between domains and multi-skills experience is highly desirable.
Professional Networking skills.
Agile/ SAFe principle and Service Management best practices
Good to have:
Knowledge in Aerospace domain
Quality management System awareness is desirable
ITIL, PMP certification is highly desirable
