The role involves the development and validation of flight controls simulation models, integration of models on different simulation platforms, and defining evolutions of the models based on evaluation sessions and change requests. The candidate should have strong skills in aerospace domain knowledge, flight mechanics, flight controls, guidance, simulation, modeling using tools like Matlab and Simulink, as well as programming in C, Matlab, and Python. The ability to lead projects and innovation initiatives, problem-solving, logical thinking, and excellent inter-personal and communication skills are also required. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work well in a team environment are highly valued.
Job Description:
Activities:
- Development and validation of flight controls simulation models
- Ensure support for integration of the models on different simulation platforms
- Define the evolutions of the models based on the evaluation sessions and the change requests
- Actively work with the system designers, testing teams during V&V campaigns of the flight controls across multiple aircraft programs
- Contribute to the simulation product development roadmap and seek new business opportunities
- Development of tools to support analysis and V&V
Required Education:
B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E., preferably with experience in the aerospace industry.
Required skills and expertise:
- Basic aerospace domain knowledge
- Knowledge of flight mechanics, flight controls and guidance
- Experience in simulation and modelling (e.g. using Matlab, Simulink)
- Experience with programming in C, Matlab, Python
- Ability to lead projects and innovation initiatives
