JOB DESCRIPTION
Associate Flight Controls and Hydraulics Development Engineer
As a Flight Controls and Hydraulic Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing
simulation models of flight controls, auto flight, hydraulics and high lift systems aimed to support system
design and testing for engineering teams as well as enable pilot training for various aircraft programs.
The various activities to be performed are:
● Develop and model flight controls, auto flight, hydraulics and high lift system simulation models
● V&V of system functions
● Ensure support for integration of the models on different simulation platforms
● Define the evolutions of the models based on the evaluation sessions and the change requests
● Actively work with the system designers, testing teams during V&V campaigns across multiple
aircraft programs
● Development of tools to support analysis and V&V
Required Education:
● B.Tech./M.Tech.in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control
Required skills and expertise:
- Basic aerospace domain knowledge
- Knowledge of flight mechanics, control systems, flight control and guidance
- Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems, Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics
- Experience in simulation and modeling of behavioral and/or physical systems (e.g. using
Matlab, Simulink)
- Experience with programming in C, C++, Matlab
- Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
