Job Description:

Data & analytics today are one of the largest levers we have for accelerating a continuous improvement culture within the complete Satair. It is a key means to increase efficiency, competitiveness, employee engagement & most importantly customer satisfaction.

You will be part of the data, analytics & automation team that has a primary focus on building self service tools, data foundations and pipelines, supporting the upskilling of abilities within the functional teams to ensure the long term stability and scalability.

As an SAP BW Data Associate you will be required to work hand in hand with the data analytics teams to support them with industrialization and improvement of the code by implementing this in high performance BW transformations.

You will be part of a team spread across the globe, matching Satair’s operational footprint. It means working in small, multi-disciplinary teams with a focus and responsibility on delivering pragmatic solutions directly to the teams.

Tasks & Accountabilities

Implement and manage scalable data pipelines on the BW4/HANA ecosystem while handling data from various data sources and determine how best to structure it in order to provide data in a ready-to-use form for the to the wider data analyst community

Create stories in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Create and optimize BW transformations based on blueprints from the business domains

Continuous improvement and monitoring of the BW systems, applications & tools supporting our data product / engineering team members

Documentation of the overall process chains / flows and corresponding processes

You are expected to write high quality, maintainable, and robust code, and provide scalable solutions for ensuring data quality and integrity.

Acts as a partner to the functional business teams

Required Skills

You are a quick learner, passionate about your work and driven to get things done with a collaborative way of working

2-4 years experience working with BW/4HANA, with an even distribution between BW application (ADSOs, transformations, composite providers, queries and process chains) and Hana database (calculation views and database objects)

Thorough command of the SQL language and good understanding of database objects

Experience SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) would be a plus 

Knowledge of the Satair BW ecosystem will be a distinct advantage

Strong knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
