Key responsibilities Establish an enterprise-wide technical architecture and implementation strategy setting the foundation for enduring success. Lead and mentor development teams, drives standardization, coding standards and best practice platform management, enabling to focus on value delivery. Institute technical governance to optimize platform performance and minimize long-term technical risk. Enable rapid upgrades to new features and innovation that drive new value. Support in building a platform team focused on delivering value and innovation. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and project managers, to gather requirements and define technical specifications for ServiceNow solutions. Design end-to-end solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Develop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and solution designs. Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and applications to meet business needs, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality. Design and implement complex workflows, automation, and integrations with third-party systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and trends, and assess their relevance to the organization's needs. Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware. Define data models, data sources, and data transformation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange. Optimize ServiceNow performance through configuration, caching, and tuning to ensure optimal system responsiveness. Collaborate with security teams to ensure ServiceNow solutions are designed and configured following security best practices. Analyze and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform, including debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions. Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and in accordance with established quality standards. Required experience Overall 14+ years of ServiceNow and 6+ years of technical leadership experience Prior experience as a ServiceNow Platform Lead Technical Architect is a must Ability to work in a complex large multinational company. Demonstrable experience of working in a complex operational IT environment Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). ServiceNow certification(s), such as ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Lead Developer on multiple ServiceNow implementations. Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ITIL framework. Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, GlideScript, and REST API. Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) and database concepts. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
