Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for building shared solutions in collaboration with architects, product managers and other key stakeholders
  • Responsible for build, configure, and manage software on Cloud and/or on-prem for IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Responsible to build, tune and perform operational efficiency (low cost/high automation) on production grade systems.
  • Work in an Agile manner on the book of work. You will own the solution/design and implementation including test, document, and demo. You will own deliverables with the support of your team, so you are responsible the overall encompassing solution for that product.
  • Responsible to design and implement a shared platform for consumption to stakeholders in a self-service model.
  • Implement critical business and compliance requirements quickly as a fully automated and scalable solution
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture (preferably GCP) and SaaS model
  • Support the adoption of an agile way of working
  • Work with agile coaches/leads to deliver in scaled scrum approach
  • Actively contribute and deliver on features, stories, tasks and ceremonies
  • Work with the wider community of engineers to increase standards & discipline
  • Eliminate waste

 

 

Your skills and experience

  • Strong experience and commitment to deliver in Agile process highlighting change while accelerating delivery.
  • Minimum 12+ (for VP), 8+ (for AVP), 5+ (for Associate), 3+ (for Analyst) years of overall hands-on experience in scripting, programming and log analytics tools such as Splunk, EFK, Tableau
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with team culture.

 

Specific Technology Skills

 

Must Have

  • Experience creating or managing multisite Splunk clusters via IAC automations
  • Splunk Data administration and automation for self-service onboarding
  • Identify opportunities to drive Dashboards and SPL optimizations across the shared platform
  • Elastic cluster management and migrations
  • SQL and scripting (python, Go)
  • Ansible, Terraform
  • UNIX system administration
  • Exposure to at least one of the major Cloud technologies: Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP (Preferred)
     

Desirable

  • OTEL, Splunk Connect for Kubernetes, Fluentd
  • Networking (TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Proxy, DNS)
