Job Title- Agile Product Owner - BFA

Location- Pune, Margarpatta

 

Role Description
The key objective of Product Owner role is to bridge the gap between the stakeholder needs and the technical delivery team and to help successfully deliver projects in an agile manner. The PO will be heavily involved at all stages of SDLC from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with teams to deliver working product. The Agile PO will define/write user stories in and work effectively with IT & Business stakeholders to successfully deliver the projects and wear multiple hats of Scrum Master/ Tech PM/QA and write BDD test cases in JIRA (Gherkins) as well as perform QA testing.

 

Successful candidate should be able to work on medium to large sized projects with strict deadlines.  Should be able to work in a cross-application, mixed-technical environment and must demonstrate solid track record of working on an agile methodology. The role demands working along-side a geographically dispersed team.

 

The position is required as part of the build out of AFC Tech internal development team in India. The overall team will primarily deliver improvements in anti-financial crime capabilities that are major components of the regulatory portfolio, addressing various regulatory commitments to mandated monitors.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver the appropriate ETL solutions on Hadoop/GCP.
  • Defining business use cases, converting them in functional user stories granular enough for development team to work on.
  • Capturing, articulating and documenting requirements, along with maintaining and defining backlog to required levels.
  • Being in an Agile team, the role is expected to be comfortable wearing multiple hats based on the delivery demands.
  • Maintaining and managing the product backlog to ensure priorities are agreed and clear with all stakeholders.
  • Pro-active in identifying effective solutions to business problems.
  • Liaising with all involved parties to ensure successful delivery.
  • Assisting and coordinating QA and UAT testing.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding analysis skills comprising demonstrable experience of minimum 12+ years in all aspects of analysis like requirements elicitation, user story writing, business process modelling, etc.
  • Experience in identifying and documenting client technical needs, internal structures, procedures, workflows and systems.
  • Experience of working with an agile methodology with knowledge of facilitating all Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience in senior stakeholder management and building excellent professional relationships.
  • Expert in coordinating with various teams during various SDLC phases and DevOps activities.
  • Comfortable working within a full project life cycle from initiation through to delivery.
  • Ability to coordinate prioritization in a complex multi-geographical context.
  • Experience in working with remote client and vendor resources.
  • SQL skills to fetch and analyse desired data from the database.
  • Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).
