What role you will play in our team

We are looking for minimum 5 years experienced production engineers to support ExxonMobil's global portfolio of Deepwater, Conventional, Unconventional & Heavy Oil assets.

What you will do

Collaborate with engineers and operators on global teams to analyze well/field performance and advise on production optimization
Integrate with adjacent disciplines (reservoir, facilities, wells, operations) to execute opportunities for production debottlenecking, operations schedule optimization
Support operator teams for operations schedule optimization, capacity enhancement, production planning and downtime optimization
Conduct regular system surveillance for production and injection wells to identify and optimization opportunities
Assess impact of identified system constraints, monitor and troubleshoot facility balance at field/platform/well level
Conduct screening economic evaluations of well intervention and stimulation operations
Manage production data, measurement and allocation quality assurance
Build/sustain proprietary production engineering technology

About You

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university in petroleum /chemical/ mechanical/other relevant engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0
Knowledge of basic concepts including:

Inflow/outflow/flowline modeling
Production well testing and allocation principles
Network modeling and facilities operations
Well design, completion, and stimulation technologies
Artificial lift methods and systems
Reservoir surveillance

Experience in production surveillance, troubleshooting and optimization of well and field performance
Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis
Hands on experience with proprietary or vendor engineering analysis tools within the experience domain
Mentorship and team leadership experience will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM (GAP,PROSPER, Resolve),OFM and Hysys
Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ)
Experience in Production database management (e.g. Energy Components, PL/SQL)
