What role you will play in our team

 

​We are looking for minimum 10 years experienced production engineers to support ExxonMobil's global portfolio of Deepwater, Conventional, Unconventional & Heavy Oil assets.

What you will do

 

  • Lead collaborative projects with engineers and operators on global teams to assess field performance and production optimization
  • Lead regular cross disciplinary discussions with reservoir, facilities, wells, & operations to identify opportunities for debottlenecking, operations schedule optimization
  • Champion effective production optimization by proactively engaging with stakeholders to address challenges, deliver solutions and process improvements
  • Lead periodic assessments of field production optimization health 
  • Lead value-driven prioritization and support execution activities to reinstate offline volumes and debottleneck active wells & facilities
  • Conduct screening economic evaluations for well intervention, stimulation opportunities
  • Influence and drive prioritization of proprietary production engineering technology
  • Develop technical capabilities of team members through training and mentoring to build production engineering capabilities

 

About You

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university in petroleum /chemical/ mechanical/other relevant engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0
  • Knowledge of basic concepts including:

 

  1. Inflow/outflow/flowline modeling
  2. Production well testing and allocation principles
  3. Network modeling and facilities operations
  4. Well design, completion, and stimulation technologies
  5. Artificial lift methods and systems
  6. Reservoir surveillance

 

  • Experience in production surveillance, troubleshooting and optimization of well and field performance
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

 

  • Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM (GAP,PROSPER, Resolve),OFM and Hysys 
  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ) 
  • Experience in Production database management (e.g. Energy Components, PL/SQL)
