About the Role
We are looking to hire a hands on engineering manager who will lead our Pune Engineering efforts and guide the team to maintain and deliver highly available and scalable web applications for our customers. In this role you will be a hands on technical leader leading a team of engineers to design, write, and ship web applications on Adobe Experience Manager
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications built on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and implement solutions to meet those needs
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM implementation
Keep up-to-date with the latest AEM releases and best practices in web development
Ensure that technical direction is clear and appropriate and followed within the team, that technical debt is accounted for and minimized
Ensure productive collaboration with product management and other development teams across the globe.
Mentor team members for career growth and personal development
Work with other Workday teams to resolve dependencies, on time
About You
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and be able to converse easily with customers, product management and engineers switching gears as vital
Basic Qualifications
5-7+ years web application development experience
Proven track record (5+ years) of shipping products with high quality and on-time.
Strong API build , design and integration experience
Proficiency in Full stack development technologies: Server Side(Java/Spring/Go) and Frontend (React/Angular etc)
Experience in one of the public cloud providers (AWS or GCP)
Experience leading teams using agile development methodologies (Lean/Scrum/Kanban)
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Adobe AEM development
Salesforce Administration knowledge is a plus
Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and web development technologies
Experience with AEM components, templates, workflows, and the AEM development process
